Yeah, so when I canceled my WoW account I deleted the icon from my desktop, but kept it installed. Then I figured it’ll be at least a year before I go back, so why not free up the space? Uninstalled it and ended up getting around 5 gigs freed up. But the screenshots I took were in the picture folder in the WoW directory. Oops.

Usually when you uninstall software and there are items that were added after installing it, those files will stil be there after uninstalling it. Exempli gratia, when you uninstall Office, the my documents folder is still there. You should examine and see if the pictures are still there.

Yeah I know. But all the saves were done in the WoW directory, it doesn’t make another folder in the documents folder like some games do. Thanks for the tip though.
Thats really weird dude. At work I make installers and uninstallers and by default any file added to any directory of the installed software will be left untouched when uninstalled. It is very possible though the uninstaller forces a recursive deletion, and in that case, you’re fucked.
